Daniel Strasser holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Ph.D. from the Institute of Molecular Pharmacy at the University of Basel. With 15 years of experience in Translational Science he has concentrated on the sweet spot bridging research with clinical development. In his current role at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd he drives the biomarker strategies to facilitate the successful translation of preclinical drug projects to clinical development. With a focus on inflammatory, autoimmune, and immuno-oncology projects he establishes collaborations with clinical experts to decipher disease mechanisms and drives the implementation of computational methodologies to understand the match between drug candidate and patients.
