Manouk is a postdoc researcher at the Ghent University hospital (UZ Gent) in Belgium. Her focus is on spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis. In addition, she is working in the field of Rheumatology through her own company -MdH Research- and is focussed on imaging.
She did her PhD at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands on imaging in axial spondyloarthritis under supervision of prof.dr. D van der Heijde and she is still involved in some spondyloarthritis projects there.
She is the treasurer of the EMerging EULAR NETwork (EMEUNET) and co-chair of Young Assessment of SpondyloArthritis international Society (ASAS).
