Kevin Thomas is an MD/PhD student working in the lab of Drs. Judith James and Joel Guthridge at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Prior work at the foundation led to a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture, and immunology. His current work primarily addresses the molecular foundations of clinical heterogeneity and pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus. This has employed advanced analyses of multimodal single-cell genomics, as well as methodologies to interrogate epigenetic regulation, such as methylation sequencing and long-read sequencing.
