Dr. Allison received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia prior to joining AMPEL as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where she is now acting as a Staff Scientist and Medical Affairs Liaison. Her research has comprised analysis of gene expression in lupus blood, lupus nephritis, cutaneous lupus and other inflammatory skin diseases using different bioinformatic and analytic tools including regression and machine learning.
