Biologist with a master degree in Advanced Biotechnology by the universities of A Coruña and Vigo (Spain). Nowadays I am doing my PhD in osteoarthritis genetics. The idea of the project is to find a genetic biomarker which allow to identify patients who suffer a rapid progresive knee osteoarthritis; this is a phenotype of the illness that instead of doing the normal cartilage destruction over several years (20-30 years), they go from a healthy joint to a joint without cartilage in a very short period of time (between 1 and 4 years) During these years I have obtained some laboratory experience either in molecular and celular biology. Furthermore in the following years while performing my PhD I want to improve my skills and knowledge in sequencing technologies and data analysis as much as possible.
