Professor John Darío Londoño Patiño is a physician and surgeon graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, medical-surgical specialist in internal medicine and rheumatology from the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, master's degree in medical sciences from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and doctor in Applied Medical Research from the Universidad de Navarra (Spain), where his thesis was awarded. During his master's degree in Mexico City, he actively participated in the academic and research processes in the departments of Rheumatology and Immunology of the General Hospital of Mexico Eduardo Egea, and the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán.
