After completing the Rheumatology residency at the Hospital del Mar, I continued to collaborate with the Rheumatology Service through the IMIM Foundation until 2016. From then on and until the present moment I perform the task of a doctor attached to the same service. I perform general care work (interview, diagnosis, imaging techniques, treatment, follow-up), clinical trials with biological therapies and I collaborate in the investigation of the service. I carry out the monographic consultation of systemic lupus erythematosus and lupus nephropathy, as well as other autoimmune connective tissue diseases (such as vasculitis, sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disease, Behcet's disease, etc). I also collaborate in the Inflammatory Unit of the same hospital that treats patients with rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis. During my healthcare career I have dedicated myself especially to inflammatory rheumatic joint diseases which resulted in the completion of my Doctoral Thesis on Lupus and bone metabolism. My work received the extraordinary Cum Laude award and bore fruit to various scientific articles. Throughout my career I have participated as a researcher, collaborator and co-author in numerous publications. In the last year 2021, I became coordinator of the Unit of Systemic autoimmune diseases and vasculitis of the Hospital del Mar (in January 2021 the Hospital del Mar has been accredited by CatSalut as "Unitat d'Expertesa Clinica within the Xarxa
