Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Kim also founded and co-directs the Washington University Lupus Clinic. Dr. Kim's research group applies basic, translational, and clinical research approaches to address unmet needs in human SLE. Additionally, he is the PI of the COVaRiPAD study, examining the immunogenicity and reactogenicity of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in rheumatic disease patients.
Dr. Kim is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council in the Rheumatology Research Foundation. He also serves as the President of the St. Louis Rheumatology Association and is on the Board of Directors of the Lupus Foundation of America Heartland Chapter.
