Suzanne Li, MD PhD, is a professor of pediatrics at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital in NJ. She obtained her MD PhD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC and completed her pediatric rheumatology training at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. She has served as chair of the Rare Disease Committee of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA), and as leader/co-leader of the CARRA pediatric scleroderma workgroups. Her research has focused on understanding extracutaneous involvement in localized scleroderma and the development of tools needed to conduct treatment studies in both localized scleroderma and systemic sclerosis. The overall goal is to improve the long-term outcome for children and teens with scleroderma.
