Julie K. Thomas, M.D. is an assistant professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. She received her medical degree from New Jersey Medical School at University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey. She completed her internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her rheumatology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining the University of Utah, she previously worked in a rheumatology private practice clinic in Reno, NV. She is a clinical rheumatologist who sees patients with systemic autoimmune conditions and inflammatory arthritis. She has an interest in quality improvement in patient care.
