Dr. Rachel Wolfe is currently an assistant professor at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. After she earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University, she returned to Tennessee to complete her medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina before joining faculty at Wake Forest in 2015. She served as assistant program director for several years before becoming program director of the rheumatology fellowship in July 2020. Her academic interest lies in medical education – both undergraduate and graduate – with special attention to medical decision making. She is currently a medical education research fellow through the NBME.
