Liron Caplan attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and then completed residence at Emory University. He served as rheumatology fellow and post-doctoral research fellow at Washington University in St. Louis before becoming faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Caplan is Section Head of Rheumatology at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where founded and directs the Spondyloarthritis Clinic. He is a health services researcher, pharmacoepidemiologist, and past-Chair of the SPondyloArthritis Research and Treatment Network (SPARTAN).
