Caroline Grönwall is an Associate Professor at the Division of Rheumatology, Dept. of Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. After obtaining a PhD in biotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, she did post-doctoral training at UCSD and continued her research in autoreactivity, molecular immunology, and rheumatology at NYU School of Medicine before returning to Stockholm. Her translational laboratory at Karolinska Institutet is focusing on understanding human autoimmunity and study autoantibodies and B-cell repertoires in rheumatic disease.
