Erika Mosor is working as a researcher with an occupational therapy background at the Section for Outcomes Research, Center for Medical Statistics, Informatics, and Intelligent Systems at the Medical University of Vienna, which is dedicated to quantitative and qualitative methodological research in medicine and life sciences. Her research focuses on people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, the patients’ perspective on their disease and the health professionals’ role.
She is co-chair of the EULAR Scientific Sub-committee of Health Professionals in Rheumatology (HPR), member of the EULAR task force on prevention and management of osteoporotic fractures and of the EULAR task force on patient-reported outcome measures for young people with inflammatory arthritis and president elect of the Austrian Society of Health Professionals in Rheumatology (ÖGRG). Erika is working closely with patients, researchers and clinicians from several European countries.
She has research experience in several international projects in the field of rheumatology and is now leading the EULAR work participation pilot project ‘Empowered2work’.
