Dr. McCormick is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Clinical Epidemiology Program, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of Dr. Hyon Choi. Her research focusses on the clinical epidemiology and genetics of gout, including interactions with diet and other lifestyle exposures. She also has an interest in the health resource utilisation and economic impact of inflammatory rheumatic diseases in general.
A Research Trainee at Arthritis Research Canada in Vancouver, BC and member of the Arthritis Care & Research Editorial Board, Dr. McCormick was supported by a Fellowship Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and is now funded by an NIH Career Development Award.
