Jun Nakamura, M.D., Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology at Jichi Medical University, Japan. His current work focuses on cytokine networks in SLE, inflammatory myopathy, and vasculitis.
He firstly received his Master of Science degree from Graduate school of Frontier Sciences at University of Tokyo. He then engaged in R&D position at Aventis Pharma (now Sanofi K.K.). He received the M.D. from the Yamaguchi University. Subsequently, he completed residency at Jichi Medical University Saitama Medical Center, and received his Ph.D. in Medicine at Jichi Medical University Graduate School. He won Jichi Medical University Graduate Student Research Award in 2017, and APLAR-Celltrion Best Abstract Award in 2018.
