Dr. Kimura is the Chief of the Pediatric Rheumatology Division at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center and Professor of Pediatrics at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr. Kimura was a President of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) and is the Co-Chair of the CARRA Registry and Research Oversight Committee (RROC). She is co-PI of the CARRA Registry for pediatric rheumatic diseases which has now enrolled more than 12,000 patients across North America. She was also the principal investigator for STOP-JIA and FROST, two CARRA Registry-wide multi-center studies testing the comparative effectiveness of CARRA consensus treatment plans (CTPs) for children and adolescents with polyarticular JIA and systemic JIA.
