Shuichiro Nakabo, MD, PhD, is a postdoc in Systemic Autoimmunity Branch (Mariana J. Kaplan lab), NIAMS, NIH. Dr. Nakabo earned his medical degree from from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan and completed his training in rheumatology in the Tenri Hospital, Tenri and the Kyoto University Hospital, Kyoto, Japan. He then got PhD from the Graduate School of The Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto Japan in 2017.
His research focus is in pathophysiology of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). He also interested in the post-translational modification of protein, especially carbamylation.
