Christopher Adams, M.D. is board-certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine with over 40 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. After a decorated tour of duty with the military as an internist, he completed a fellowship in clinical immunology and rheumatology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
He was previously Chief of Rheumatology at East Alabama Medical Center before his current role as senior clinician at Premier Rheumatology of Alabama. Dr. Adams is a clinical faculty member and guest lecturer at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn. He is also an advocate for arthritis patients through his sustained work for the Alabama Society of Rheumatic Diseases and previous service on the Committee for Rheumatologic Care of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Adams is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology.
