Dr. Sarah Keller MD, MA is an Associate Staff Physician in the Orthopedic and Rheumatology Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. She is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Her current research focuses on osteoporosis and fracture risk following solid organ transplant.
Dr. Keller joined the medical staff in the Department of Rheumatic and Immunologic Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic in 2019, following one year of clinical rheumatology practice at St. Elizabeth Physicians in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Dr. Keller completed her Rheumatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2018 and her Internal Medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2016. She attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York, where she received the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. She was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society upon graduation from the University of Rochester. Prior to medical school, Dr. Keller obtained a Master of Arts from Columbia University in French literature and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in Philosophy.
Dr. Keller has published several scholarly articles in the area of gout and has written numerous academic chapters on topics in metabolic bone disease and gout. She was the recipient of the Young Investigator Award given by the Gout Hyperuricemia and Crystal-Associated Network in 2017.
