Sheila T. Angeles-Han, M.D., M.Sc. is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Han is a pediatric rheumatologist who is dedicated to improving the visual outcomes and quality of life of children with all inflammatory diseases. Her research focuses on investigating non-invasive biomarkers and genetic risk factors of ocular inflammation, and establishing a comprehensive assessment of pediatric uveitis outcomes. She developed and validated the only measure of vision-related quality of life and function for pediatric uveitis, the “Effects of Youngsters’ Eyesight on Quality of Life” (EYE-Q) questionnaire.
