Dr. Kam Nola is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has been at Lipscomb since 2009. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, and her Masters of Science in outcomes research and pharmacoeconomics from the University of Tennessee College of Graduate Health Sciences. She completed a two-year Community Pharmacy Residency while working on her masters. Dr. Nola also focused on health policy and managed care during her graduate work. She has work experience in community pharmacy, academic pharmacy practice, the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, and pharmacy organizations. She is past Associate Executive Director of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association as well as a Past President of the organization. She teaches in the areas of rheumatology, communication skills, health care policy & delivery, and care of vulnerable and underserved populations. Dr. Nola is a Past President of the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Professionals. She was awarded the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Professionals Distinguished Educator Award, 2021. She was awarded the Lipscomb College of Pharmacy Faculty of the Year Award, 2020.
