Minna Kohler, M.D. RhMSUS, is the Director and founder of the Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/ Harvard Medical School. She serves as key faculty for the MGH rheumatology fellowship program, rheum/MSKUS rotation director for the Spaulding PM&R residency program, and adjunct faculty in the MGH Emergency Medicine Ultrasound fellowship program. She actively teaches MSKUS at all training levels from medical school to faculty in multiple specialties. Dr. Kohler is a faculty mentor and board member for the USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists). She actively promotes ultrasound training through the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) (MSKUS Education and RhMSUS certification exam subcommittees), has been an invited speaker and instructor for courses at the ACR, AIUM, as well as other regional and international courses. Dr. Kohler's clinical interests are in inflammatory arthritides including psoriatic arthritis/ SpA, crystal-related arthropathies, ICI and cancer related inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Her research interests are in point-of-care ultrasound as it relates to arthritis, vasculitis and other musculoskeletal and rheumatic conditions. She is the editor of the book "Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology Review."
