She has a long-standing experience in clinical management of Spondyloarthritis patients. The Unit in which she works is a 3rd referral rheumatological Centre, of prominence within Italy, for the diagnosis and management of patients affected with rheumatic conditions. In addition, she has expertise in the management and follow-up of patients with microcrystals diseases, in particular in the evaluation with synovial fluid analysis and ultrasound tool, to develop early diagnosis. However, she has a very high expertise in the study of the erosive osteoarthritis, and Padova is a Regional referral Center.
Prof. Ramonda is the author of several papers published in highly regarded ISI journals, including clinical studies describing manifestations or subgroup prognostic risk factors, and therapeutic response to biological treatments in patients with spondyloarthritis, microcrystals diseases and erosive hand osteoarthritis. In addition, she has co-authored of books, and Conference Proceedings and over 500 abstracts to National and International Conferences.
