Dr. Kathleen Flarity, DNP, PhD, CEN, CFRN, FAEN, FAAN is the Deputy Director of the CU Anschutz Center for COMBAT Research. Additionally, Brigadier General Flarity is an experienced nurse practitioner and emergency and critical care flight nurse. She has over 41 years of military service, including multiple deployments and commands. She has delivered hundreds of national/international invited lectures or keynote addresses and has published 16 book chapters and 32 journal articles, including 16 peer-reviewed research manuscripts. She is the Immediate Past President of the Aerospace Nursing and Allied Health Professionals Society, a Constituent Organization of the Aerospace Medical Association. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado – Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus.
