Jeffrey W. Olin, DO, FACC, FAHA, MSVM
Dr. Olin is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Director of Vascular Medicine and the Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Olin is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Vascular Medicine. He is a past president of the Society for Vascular Medicine and has been awarded the highest honor from that society, Master of the Society for Vascular Medicine. Dr Olin received the inaugural Jess R Young, M.D. teaching award from the Society for Vascular Medicine and the Simon Dack, M.D. teaching award from the fellows at Mount Sinai Heart. Dr. Olin received the 2016 Peripheral Vascular Disease Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. Dr. Olin has authored more than 290 scientific papers in the peer review literature, 3 books and more than 80 book chapters. He has published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Circulation, Cardiovascular Research, Journal of the American Medical Association, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, European Heart Journal, Journal of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Medicine to name a few. He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and an Editor of the textbook Peripheral Vascular Diseases.
