Dr Oldroyd is a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Manchester (UK).
His research focuses on the myositis and the following: 1) remote patient monitoring, 2) continuous and remote gait pattern analysis, 3) time series analysis, 4) cancer associated myositis, 5) statistical computation (proficient in R).
He has recently completed a PhD, which was funded by Versus Arthritis. His PhD focused on developing a remote and continuous method of myositis disease activity assessment. He continues research work alongside rheumatology specialist training.
