Jill Norris, MPH, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology in the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado. Dr. Norris’ research has focuses on the relationship of environment in the development of autoimmune diseases, including type 1 diabetes (T1D), celiac disease, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and multiple sclerosis in genetically susceptible individuals. Her work is focused on the role of maternal, infant, childhood and adult dietary factors and the etiology of autoimmune disease, using metabolomics and epigenomic approaches in large, at-risk populations.
