Neelkamal Soares, MD, a Board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, is Professor of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He completed Pediatric residency at the University of Illinois Chicago and Fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Baltimore.
Dr. Soares serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and on the Michigan Governor’s Autism Council.
He has been the recipient of numerous grants and awards (public and private) over the years and has over 60 peer-reviewed publications in addition to numerous chapters and commentaries. He is considered a content expert not just in clinical matters but also on telehealth, predating the COVID-19 pandemic by a decade or more.
