This lightning session will cover the complex, and often delayed, diagnosis of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA, formerly Churg-Strauss Syndrome). Diagnostic considerations, discussion of vasculitis, and role/limitations of biopsy and ANCA are elucidated. These diagnostic considerations are followed by a discussion of diverse patient profiles who would necessitate a diagnostic workup as described.
