Cutting-edge techniques to interrogate immune function and profile human genetic variation continue to expand and provide an ever-deepening understanding of immunopathology. However, can we truly interpret this rich data without a similarly deep grasp of the spectrum of immune function and immunogenetics in individuals of all ages across the full continuum of health and chronic non-immune disease? The speakers will describe cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary efforts to catalog and classify normal human immunity and how these efforts are the bedrock for making the next generation of advancements in understanding the underpinnings of immune disease.
Speaker: Allie Greenplate, PhD – University of Pennsylvania
