In this session, we will discuss management of myositis through educational cases and CARE questions and answers. We will describe pharmacological treatment as well as physical/pulmonary rehabilitation in management of these cases. We will review the specific autoantibodies and their associated syndromes, including anti-synthetase, dermatomyositis, and necrotizing myopathy.

Learning Objectives:

Recognize the predictive value of autoantibodies in the clinical phenotype of inflammatory myositis
Outline treatment of interstitial lung disease (ILD) in patients with anti-synthetase syndrome
Develop a multimodal approach for physical therapy, pulmonary rehabilitation, and medication optimization in myositis and ILD
