In this session, we will review the management of rheumatoid arthritis through clinical scenarios and CARE Q&As. We will discuss multi-modal pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, optimization of care for early RA, and treatment-resistant RA.

Learning Objectives:

Develop multimodal approach for pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of RA
Construct a treatment algorithm for use of conventional DMARD in early RA
Integrate infectious and CV risk in the selection of biologic and targeted synthetic medication for RA management
