The newly-drafted 2022 American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) CPPD classification criteria are the first validated criteria to be developed for this common condition. They include integration of clinical, laboratory, and imaging findings to provide a classification criteria fit for the 21st century.

During this session, the newly-drafted classification criteria will be presented, along with the methodology for their development.
