Food and nutrition are important, and often overlooked, parts of general health - even more so in rheumatic disease. In 2021, three studies were published in prominent rheumatology journals examining the effect of the Mediterranean diet on rheumatic disease (i.e., Sjogren's, axial SpA, SLE). This session will review these data, specifically regarding the Mediterranean diet, but also review the health benefits of other well-researched diets, namely vegan/plant-based.
