Dr. Rao will discuss the recent effort that use detailed immunoprofiling to define prominent features of lymphocyte dysregulation in blood and tissue samples from patients with SLE, including the recognition of expanded populations of T peripheral helper cells, T follicular helper cells, and CD11c+ age-associated B cells. He will discuss implications for these findings and their potential utility as cellular biomarkers to detect and track SLE-associated adaptive immune cell activation for use in clinical practice.
Speaker: Deepak A. Rao, MD, PhD – Brigham and Women's Hospital
