Dr. Steven R. Feldman is Professor of Dermatology, Pathology, Social Sciences & Health Policy, and Molecular Medicine & Translational Science at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He received MD and PhD degrees from Duke University and completed dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dermatopathology training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He leads the Center for Dermatology Research, a health services research center whose mission is to improve the care of patients with skin disease. Dr. Feldman’s chief clinical interest is psoriasis, a chronic, physically & psychosocially disabling condition. His passion is to help guide how patients with psoriasis are treated. He serves on the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and directed psoriasis education programs for the American Academy of Dermatology. According to Expertscape.com, Feldman has been rated among the top experts in the world on psoriasis and dermatology. His research has been published in over 1,200 Medline-referenced articles. Feldman also serves as the editor of the Journal of Dermatological Treatment and the Journal of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery and as chief medical editor of The Dermatologist.
