Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a highly prevalent, chronic gastrointestinal disorder. GERD that remains undiagnosed and/or undertreated can result in serious complications, including erosive esophagitis (EE), esophageal strictures, Barrett’s esophagus, and esophageal adenocarcinoma. In this live, interactive townhall, expert faculty will discuss the latest evidence regarding the diagnosis and management of GERD and EE, including new medical therapies. Faculty will use patient cases to contextualize clinical information that learners can apply in their own practices.
A recording of this presentation will be available to all ACG 2022 attendees on the ACG Conference Platform after the live session through March 31, 2023.
Open to all ACG 2022 attendees, industry-sponsored symposia provide additional educational opportunities. These programs are independent of the ACG 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course programs. ACG is not the continuing medical education provider of these programs.
