This program is supported by an independent educational grant from Janssen Biotech Inc., administered by Janssen Scientific Affairs, Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. and AbbVie.
This live, interactive, case-based symposium will increase awareness of disparities in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) among patients of different racial and ethnic groups residing in different geographic regions of the country. An expert panel of clinicians will use patient cases to illustrate key concepts in IBD management, and present the latest evidence in risk stratification, treat-to-target principles, patient-reported outcomes, individualizing treatment, and shared decision-making. Faculty will also discuss strategies for increasing access to culturally competent care among diverse IBD patient groups.
A recording of this presentation will be available to all ACG 2022 attendees on the ACG Conference Platform after the live session through March 31, 2023.
Open to all ACG 2022 attendees, industry-sponsored symposia provide additional educational opportunities. These programs are independent of the ACG 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course programs. ACG is not the continuing medical education provider of these programs.
