Accreditation/CME/MOC: The American College of Gastroenterology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Gastroenterology designates this other activity (blended learning) for a maximum of 3.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 3.25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) and the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM and ABP MOC credit.
How to Claim CME and MOC: Complete the online evaluation at the ACG website, https://evals.gi.org/am/2022, to claim CME credit commensurate with your participation in the course (the evaluation site for this course will open on Friday, October 21, 2022). Please complete your CME evaluation and MOC assessment soon after the course. ABIM Board Certified physicians need to complete the MOC assessment by December 31, 2022 in order for the MOC points to count toward any MOC requirements that are due by the end of the year. No MOC credit may be awarded for this activity after April 28, 2023.
ABP diplomates should claim their MOC for this activity by December 1. All ABP learner completion data should be submitted within 30 days of activity completion. ABP diplomates can claim MOC by emailing education@gi.org after completing their CME evaluation to obtain the required forms.
