Jonathan A. Leighton, MD, FACG, is a Professor of Medicine and Vice-Chair of the Department of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. In addition, he is the Medical Director of the Office of Patient Experience for the Mayo Enterprise. He currently is a member of the ACG Board of Trustees and is also an active member of the AGA and ASGE. Dr. Leighton's research interests include colorectal neoplasia, inflammatory bowel disease, and small bowel imaging techniques, including capsule endoscopy and deep enteroscopy.
