Nitin K. Ahuja, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Pennsylvania. There he also serves as Co-Director of the Program in Neurogastroenterology and Motility and as Associate Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship. He went to medical school at the University of Michigan and completed his clinical training at the University of Virginia and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Alongside his clinical and research work, he is a writer with interests in the history, literature, and culture of medicine.
