Zarine K. Shah, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is fellowship-trained in Abdominal Imaging and Nuclear Medicine. Her clinical interest and expertise are in imaging of the hepatobiliary system and pancreas and she also has expertise in imaging of the prostate. She has multiple clinical research collaborations with gastroenterologists and urologists and is currently co-investigator on CPDPC projects pertaining to the study of chronic pancreatitis. She has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals as the primary author and co-author. Her expertise is in MRI and she served as the first medical director of MRI at her home institution. She is involved in teaching residents and medical students and has mentored numerous residents in clinical research over the years. She has been an invited speaker at multiple local and regional conferences and is a member of the Disease Focused Panel for Pancreatic Cancer at the Society of Abdominal Radiology- the national organization of abdominal imaging. Dr. Shah is also passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion and in this sphere, she holds the position of Associate Director of the Women in Medicine and Science committee at the level of the college of medicine. She is also a member of the President and Provost's Council on Women which is a university-level committee.
