Dr. Renelus attended medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where he remained for residency. He remained on staff as chief resident at Grady Hospital. He completed his GI fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He returned to Grady Hospital and is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine with Morehouse School of Medicine. His clinical and research focus includes GI oncology, endoscopy and disparities.
