Vanessa M. Shami, MD, FACG, is Professor of Medicine and Director of Interventional Endoscopy in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She completed her gastrointestinal fellowship training at the University of Virginia and her interventional training at the University of Chicago. Her interests include Barrett’s ablation, upper and lower EMR, GI oncology, as well as pancreaticobiliary medicine.
