This year's Town Hall will include a presentation by Dr. Mary Jane Rapport, APTA Pediatrics Chief Delegate, focused on APTA governance (including the House of Delegates) with an overview of important motions, actions and decisions from the 2022 House of Delegates (HOD). A speaker from APTA staff, Kate Gilliard, JD, APTA Senior Policy and Regulatory Affairs Specialist, will be invited to address APTA Advocacy initiatives, particularly those related to pediatric physical therapy service delivery and funding. Following the Town Hall presentations, participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and Q&A with these presenters and several other Academy leaders (Academy BOD and officers). This session is for YOU, the members of the APTA and the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy to share your ideas, ask your questions, and discuss future directions of the PT profession.
