Britta Gurgel, PT, DPT, PCS is a pediatric physical therapist and assistant professor within Oregon Health & Science University's Institute on Development and Disability. Britta’s clinical focus is working with children and teens who have chronic health conditions or difficulties with movement. Specific interests include pediatric persistent pain, neuromuscular diagnoses, and health promotion for children with and without disabilities. Britta is a mentor with OHSU's pediatric physical therapy residency program and is President of pdxAMBUCS, which focuses on adapted cycling for children with disabilities. She belongs to the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and the Academy of Physical Therapy Research.
