Dr. Clifton is a graduate of the University of Miami - Nicklaus Children's Hospital Pediatric Residency Program. She is Board-Certified in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary and Pediatric Physical Therapy with a focused research background in the pediatric cardiopulmonary population. She has published and presented nationally her residency Capstone project on sternal precautions in infants. She is part of a developmental care team at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and rehabilitation clinical lead the PICU early mobility initiative. Dr. Clifton serves as the chair of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist Interest Group within the Pediatric Academy.
