Kate received her DPT from the University of Alabama at Birmingham before beginning work at The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs in central Alabama. In 2015 she was the LEND PT Resident at Oregon Health and Science University. She has been a PT with Portland Public Schools since 2016. Kate became a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2017. She is the current Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy’s EI SIG Secretary and locally supports the work of APTA Oregon’s Cultural and Minority Affairs committee. Kate is passionate about collaborative practices to support inclusion and belonging across settings.
