Dr. Lightsey PT, DPT, MA, HPCS is the Founder/Director of HOPE (Horses Offering People Enrichment) in Beijing, China. Dr. Krenek PT, DPT, HPCS is the Founder/CEO of ROCK (Ride on Center for Kids) in Georgetown, TX. She is also the Director of the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Courtney Grimshaw Equine-Assisted Services Program where Dr. Lightsey serves as Lead Physical Therapist. The two have worked together for over 20 years providing physical therapy sessions incorporating equine movement. They teach a Biomedical Science class at TAMU on equine-assisted services and conducted this study in collaboration with the TAMU Mechanical Engineering Department.
